What is the purpose of the "Travel with Grace" program?

How are the destinations selected for the program?

What is the accommodation like, and will students have roommates?

Accommodations vary but are selected for safety and comfort. Details about rooming arrangements will be provided prior to departure.

How are dietary restrictions and allergies accommodated during the trip?

Parents/guardians will be requested to inform our team of any dietary restrictions their child may have to ensure that we can accommodate their specific needs during the program.

What is included in the program cost?

The program cost covers accommodation, meals, cultural experiences, guided tours, and local transportation. However, flight expenses are not included.

Is travel insurance provided, or should we purchase it separately?

Participants are required to arrange their own travel insurance, covering health, trip cancellation, and other potential unforeseen circumstances.

Are there any mandatory meetings or orientations before the trip?

A mandatory Zoom call is scheduled 30 days before departure to provide essential information, address any concerns, and ensure all participants are well-prepared for the transformative experience ahead.

What happens if my child misses a flight or encounters travel disruptions?

In the event of missed flights or travel disruptions, we strongly urge you to purchase travel insurance to safeguard against unforeseen circumstances and provide added peace of mind throughout the duration

What type of supervision will be provided for the students during free time or excursions?

To ensure the safety and well-being of students throughout the "Travel with Grace" program, a dedicated team of experienced supervisors will be present, implementing a comprehensive supervision plan that includes random check-ins to maintain constant communication, monitor participant activities, and promptly address any needs or concerns that may arise. There will be one chaperone per five students.

What happens if a student has a problem or needs assistance while abroad?

We have designated points of contact for assistance, and students are encouraged to reach out to the program staff if they encounter any issues. Emergency contact information is shared with participants.

Are there opportunities for students to engage in community service or volunteer work during the program?

Participating in the "Travel with Grace" program not only offers the chance to explore diverse cultures but also provides students with a unique opportunity to earn valuable community service hours through meaningful engagement and contribution to the communities they visit.

What safety measures are in place during the trip?

The safety of participants is a top priority. We have experienced chaperones to follow strict safety protocols and provide emergency contact information.

How are medical emergencies handled?

Trave with Grace has established procedures for handling medical emergencies, including access to local healthcare facilities and contact with parents or guardians.

How can we stay in touch with our child during the trip?

Parents/guardians are encouraged to stay in contact with their child through phone calls or emails; however, we kindly request that communication be limited to allow participants to fully immerse themselves in the experience of the program.

What cultural norms or expectations should students be aware of in the destination country?

This is information is provided prior to departure, helping students to be respectful and culturally sensitive during their stay.

How do we determine the 15 students to participate in the program?

The selection process for the 15 students to participate in the Travel with Grace program is based on a first-come, first-served basis. To secure a spot in the program, students must submit a deposit, and the first 15 deposits received will secure their participation. This approach ensures fairness and transparency in the selection process while also encouraging early commitment and participation.

Parents are encouraged to thoroughly review all provided materials, attend pre-departure meetings, and maintain open communication with program organizers to address any specific concerns or questions they may have.
